A little slice of fame!
Argh! Once again, apologies for my complete lack of posts.
I really need to set aside some time each week to write!
I'm just off to bed now but thought I'd share some exciting news..

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, I have no excuse other that I've been really lazy!
I've still been avidly reading my favourite blogs though and have seen some brilliant posts lately that inspired me to get back on the blogging wagon!
Unbelievably my little munchkin is now 18 months old! Only 6 months until she's two!
She is becoming such lovely company now and amazes me with how much she understands.
She's getting better with her vocabulary too, her newest words are "bye bye, baby, bubbles (all quite similar funnily!), weeeee and shoe".
Here favourite things at the moment are eating (as usual), making me read her books and wearing things on her head (the object is quite often not a hat but a household object or a potty..).
I had planned to say how pleased I was that the weather had finally perked up and all the things I was looking forward to doing but it looks like we're due for another week of rain now so I'll save that for another post!

March?!
Really come on now we've only just had Christmas...oh, no it really is March!
This year is really flying by already and I am appalled that it is my birthday in a week's time, I'm sure they're getting closer together!
Despite getting a year older, I'm looking forward to having a week off with Rich and the small person.
I think I need it actually as she has been a bit poorly the last week and I had my first experience of dealing with a vomiting toddler, lucky me!
I *think* that she's all better tummy wise now but she's being bothered by her teeth again, she's 17 months now and still only has 4, but I can see LOADS just sitting in her gums waiting to pop through! I hope they all come out at once so we can get this over with!
Next week we're hoping to have some nice day trips out, but we also have to get out boiler sorted as its broken again after only being repaired in August.
I'll be rounding off next week surrounded by curry, booze and some of my best pals so I can't complain too much!

16 months old
My little lady is 16 months old today!
She's being a bit grumpy this morning as she has a sore mouth due to teething and also biting down on her gum when she fell over at the weekend. But apart from not really wanting her milk, she's in pretty good spirits.
At the moment her favourite things to do are:
- making animal noises
- singing "Twinkle Twinkle..."
- building with her blocks
- closing doors (especially when it means shutting someone in or out of a room)
- and as always, eating!
