I've been trying desperately to get blogging again recently and have plans for lots of new posts, very soon!
I've just given my blog a bit of a makeover to try and spur me on and I've got loads of beginnings of posts written down in my notepad, I just need to finish them!!
There are 2 important birthdays coming up soon in our house.
Rich is turning the big 3-0 in a couple of weeks so I'm trying to sort out that for him - can't say too much in case he reads this!!
It is also the little one's 2nd birthday in just over 2 months and I have been getting some ideas from Pinterest to help plan her party.
I'm thinking along the lines of a tea party with a "Tiger who came to tea" theme as it's one of her favourite books!

Neve is really coming along nicely with her talking now and can be a bit of a parrot so i'm having to watch what I say!!
At the same time though she can completely go into her own world at times and ignore everything, even when I offer her a sugary treat. This usually happens when she is engrossed in a book, I really hope she always loves them this much!
I am really pleased to see that the next few days are going to be full of sunshine - on one day it's even meant to go up the 26C so I'm looking forward to spending lots of time outside over the weekend and my days off!
More posts will be coming soon anyway, I might even finish them whilst enjoying the outdoors at this rate!

A little slice of fame!
Argh! Once again, apologies for my complete lack of posts.
I really need to set aside some time each week to write!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, I have no excuse other that I've been really lazy!
I've still been avidly reading my favourite blogs though and have seen some brilliant posts lately that inspired me to get back on the blogging wagon!
Unbelievably my little munchkin is now 18 months old! Only 6 months until she's two!
She is becoming such lovely company now and amazes me with how much she understands.
She's getting better with her vocabulary too, her newest words are "bye bye, baby, bubbles (all quite similar funnily!), weeeee and shoe".
Here favourite things at the moment are eating (as usual), making me read her books and wearing things on her head (the object is quite often not a hat but a household object or a potty..).
I had planned to say how pleased I was that the weather had finally perked up and all the things I was looking forward to doing but it looks like we're due for another week of rain now so I'll save that for another post!

March?!
Really come on now we've only just had Christmas...oh, no it really is March!
This year is really flying by already and I am appalled that it is my birthday in a week's time, I'm sure they're getting closer together!
Despite getting a year older, I'm looking forward to having a week off with Rich and the small person.
I think I need it actually as she has been a bit poorly the last week and I had my first experience of dealing with a vomiting toddler, lucky me!
I *think* that she's all better tummy wise now but she's being bothered by her teeth again, she's 17 months now and still only has 4, but I can see LOADS just sitting in her gums waiting to pop through! I hope they all come out at once so we can get this over with!
Next week we're hoping to have some nice day trips out, but we also have to get out boiler sorted as its broken again after only being repaired in August.
I'll be rounding off next week surrounded by curry, booze and some of my best pals so I can't complain too much!
